OUR POWER IS AVAILABLE WITHIN IF WE ARE WILLING TO RECLAIM IT
One of the main reasons for the creation of the false self is because as children we felt powerless in the face of the authority figures in our lives. Our parents, our teachers are older siblings or society in general. As we became aware of the outside world we felt our Joyous , creative, spontaneous expression, got shut down by those with authority over us.
As we grew, we covered this suppression of our authentic self, with the creation of an idealized self so we could have authority over our own lives. This insistent identity was created to defend ourselves yet its power came with a cost. The suppression of our true selves, which required us to use our own energy to hold ourselves back, which eventually becomes an exhausting and depleting experience.
If we surrender our false identity and and have the courage to live authentically we can reclaim our true power. Yet this requires us to accept full responsibility for the creation of our life. We are truly that powerful, and we have the capacity to access an unlimited source , if we are willing to take full ownership of our divine inheritance.
