THE EVOLUTION OF STRESS AND RECOVERY


RECOVERY IS THE ESSENTIAL INGREDIENT THAT TURNS STRESS INTO EVOLUTION


In the modern world stress is seen as a negative thing that we accumulate through forcing ourselves beyond our healthy boundaries, and when we are constantly in that state it can lead to disease. Many people are trying to avoid all stress in their lives to counter theses negative results. Yet the problem is not that sometimes we push ourselves beyond our limits but that we do not take the time to recover .


There is a common belief that recovery is only necessary when there has been an injury ,accident or illness that forces us to stop . Yet actually for us to find balance  the answer is to bring these two principles together and understand that when we consciously utilize them synergistically they lead to our evolution.


Stress is the act of stretching ourselves, which results in pulling apart the structure of who we are , allowing us to rebuild from a whole new innovative place . Yet with out understanding that recovery is essential to utilize the effort we have put in . For once we are deconstructed we then need the time to knit ourselves back together, yet in the process being able to upgrade and weave new mutations into our structures .


We we recognize that Stress and Recovery are two sides of the evolutionary coin, we can stop fighting a war against stress and recognize by valuing and planning in recovery time into all our activities, physical, mental or emotional we can evolve in a healthy and exponential way .
