NO MATTER THE CONSEQUENCES
WHEN WE HAVE THE COURAGE TO STAND UP FOR TRUTH OUR LIVES REFLECT THIS AUTHENTICITY
In life unknowingly we can find many reasons to not be authentic as we wish to avoid the negative consequences we perceive might happen . Over time this becomes second nature as we don’t want to offend anyone or wish to avoid punishment for ourselves we slowly lose track of our integrity in return for a quiet life .
However that quiet life becomes an inauthentic one. We almost subconsciously swap masks of varying degrees ( The coward , the people pleaser , the realist , the victim ) , interchangeably using them in different situations and circumstances to enable us to navigate life hoping to avoid the pitfalls , yet ultimately this way of living creates an external mirror that reflects your masks not your true being and so feels shallow and unfulfilled.
Instead we can develop awareness and keep track of this behavior, and the moment we feel off center or misaligned we can track it to some suppression of honesty for the sake of gaining reward or avoiding punishment .
At this point we can commit to reflecting in total ownership how we have been acting and why it is making us feel disconnected to others and ourselves. Then Choose to call up the courage and vulnerability to communicate without blame , expectation or demand but openly and honestly knowing that this is the only way to live an authentic and fulfilling life !
