TO FREE OUR EXPRESSION OF CREATIVITY WE
NEED TO DROP THE BURDEN OF DUTY
So many of us have a sense of responsibility that propels us along each day trying to live up to a sense of duty .
We have a picture of ourselves in various roles that we idealize some perfect version of , and spend our days trying to live up to these unrealistic standards at the cost of our own authenticity.
Eventually we see that this sense of duty becomes a burden , a weight we have to carry that we think somehow gives us value yet actually perverts our authentic being in layers of false hoods for the sake of trying to gain an idealistic sense of self .
Our authenticity is at the root of our creative expressions , when we bury ourselves in responsibilities we lose access to our spontaneous and creative self . So now is the time to question our internal voice that demands we prove ourselves and make space for that creative spark that is within us to take front stage , for when we allow these expressions to have a voice we discover our true worth .
