Please yourself then you will be a pleasure not a pleaser
When we make a life about pleasing others we are at risk of becoming an inauthentic people pleaser , as our sole objective is to make another happy and yet happiness is an inside job and each of us are responsible for our own.
We have to learn how to please ourselves, how to balance ourselves, how to listen to our bodies and our emotions for their communication and live in integrity with that guidance sometimes this can be out of alignment with another’s desires or wishes and if we pervert our own honesty to retain their approval our own well-being suffers.
When we have the courage to live authentically and realize that our own happiness Aligns with us trusting this Guidance we become more contented and less needy and are a pleasure to be around.
